Are we lucky to live here or WHAT!.....Only one thing better than the clip about our golf carts are the WONDERFUL Villagers!!!!! My only concern is that the CBS clip will have EVERYONE moving here.....giggle

We DVR'd it - just sat down a bit ago to watch the clip. Very well done by Bill Geist.

What a cute clip of The Villages! Also fun to see columbus indiana, as well because we used to live there, too. We left Columbus in 1986, but had 12 wonderful years there!
Deano--when did you move to Columbus?

Drat, I forgot about it also! I tried to google it, but no results. Anyone have a link?

Just watched the segment on the Villages. Pretty cool about all of the different types of golf carts. One thing I didn't know is there are 90 miles of paved road, about 50,000 golf carts here with about 16,000 of the golf carts not used for golfing, 100 restaurants. Interesting info!

Am a lifelong Columbus, IN resident except for school and Army years away. So I guess you could say I moved here when I was born in 1942!

Barefoot,

The link you showed got me still pictures only. Any link that shows the entire 5-min. clip?

I would love to forward it to some friends.

I only found the photo gallery on the CBS link posted above, not the video. I watched it when it was broadcast this morning (it was great), but I'd love to forward a copy to friends as well. If anyone finds a link to the video, I'd love to have it. Thanks!

The link I mentioned shows pictures, and I think the "script" to the right of the pictures. I'm still looking for the missing link of the video!

I've not heard the term "Drat" before, but count me in. I too missed it and already have had friends and family who saw the piece this morning contact me to ask me if that is where we live...

I checked You Tube and CBS on demand and I wasn't able to find the video. Hopefully, someone will post it to You Tube or someone here on TOTV will find and post the video. Given the publicity, I'm surprised it's not (yet) on thevillages.com web site ( yes, I checked ).

Keeping my fingers crossed in Buttonwood...
