I always appreciate what you have to say, but think about this for a minute...an "eyelash" away from Lake County line. The folks on the Mexican side of the border fence in Nogales, MX... just south of Arizona (or Juarez, Mexico, just south of El Paso, TX) are also "just an eyelash" away from the USA....

Different country, different county, different city... different rules.

I believe Lake County is realizing they need to get back on TV gravy train and collect some of those taxes Sumter County is enjoying. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

And no, I don't believe I will see build out in my lifetime!

That must be the Pine Ridge Dairy tract. It's a huge piece of land and the LSL Central District already owns the land adjacent to it in Lake County. Hmmm! Another town square maybe? I doubt it.

What about water usage? There have been several reports that the St. James River authority has said a big fat "NO!" to any more expansion for TV.

Shouldn't the OLD build out plan be COMPLETED AROUND spring 2015?

At the recent Meet the Developer meeting hosted by the VHA, Mark Morse said that at the current pace the build-out is expected during the first quarter of 2016... that would be the OLD build-out.

Even good things finally come to an end. I hope we are around at build out---2016-2017 my guess.

If you believe that the past is prologue to the future then most people can pretty much guess the outcome

Default Anything new to report?

Still waiting to get my LSV scheduled for early November. The office is not taking reservations yet!

Introduced my wife to the Talk of the Villages board. She commented about how thoughtful the responses to my prior post were. Lots of smart people in the Villages was her take.

Depends on the type of homes going in and the time frame needed and how sales are going. They can build up wards of 350 plus a month if needed...... That would be pushing it.. You would have to have all underground put in. that is the time consuming part.

I traveled down 466A the other nite going to Fruitland Park and noticed a fair amount of land already being leveled....lots of dirt.

Instead of more houses, how about some indoor pools, basketball court etc..

I 2nd this question.. Pine Ride Dairy land has been cleared or plowed, they do that often. I have not seen anything else massive on 466a in the works besides Pinellas Plaza.

Default Conversion

In case anyone is wondering, 600 acres converts to about .9375 square miles.
