Age doesn't make a difference. I'm 14 and nobody seems to care. :joke:

Hi Grace! This is I think the second time I have ever signed on to TOTV and was surprised at seeing a message from someone I know. Actually a lot of messages :bigthumbsup:

As you know, Nancy and I do not live in TV but visit when ever we can get a few weeks. One of the things we love is our neighbors. When we are in residence, we see them socially several times a week and really enjoy doing things together - Hand and Foot, Out (or in) to dinner, Dominoes, even a rousing game of Clue. When not in TV, we email several times a week. Meeting people at the pools seems to be easy as most are open and friendly, even the temporary visitors. I have seen no age discrimination among the seniors.

OH How sweet to have you post here. WELL one thing I know, ANYBODY would love the two of you. You are both so bright and funny, clever, interesting and just plain wonderful. I am NOT influenced by the fact that we have known you for 30+ years and that our daughters were in each other's weddings.

Love your response to this post for it softens my "newness" to TV. I especially like your analogy to the aquariums. So true...keep writing. We're all in this together and hope we all end up in the "same place". The good place!!!

No, age doesn't make a difference in TV. Attitude does. :bigthumbsup:

Sometimes age makes a difference;

A 70 year old man married a lovely 40 year old. His 70 year old best friend asked "How did you get her to marry you?" His reply was "I told her I was 90".

I have to convince myself that age doesn't make a difference. At an incredibly older-than-dirt age with a young mind I still find it intimidating to walk into a Social Club by myself for the first time.
In fact, I haven't.

Maybe the key is to find a partner first!!!

Maybe there are some people who are age focused; fortunately, we haven't come across anyone at TV who is. I can't imagine it as an issue!

A cow on a crutch?... What a mind's eye picture!
