I also want to thank the Parrot Heads. I wish more clubs would do things like that. It takes a lot of work to keep things looking good here in our little paradise.

A big thank you from one of the Parrot Heads. A lot of people think we are just a party group, but we do ALOT of things for charity. Not only do we raise alot of money to give, every month we collect various items such as food for the food pantry, school supplies, etc. It's a terrific club. Our motto is "Party With A Purpose !"

The parrot heads are not sponsored by the Recreation Dept.
They meet at area country clubs.

The Villages Parrot Head Club proudly serves Parrot Heads in The Villages, Lady Lake and the surrounding area of central Florida. We are a collection of folks who embrace the music and writings of Jimmy Buffett and believe in "leaving things just a little better than they found them ... and having a BLAST while doing it."

I'm a Parrot Head, but didn't know about the Rec. Dept. not sponsoring the club. That raises the question; must you be a Village resident or owner to be a member of the Villages Parrot Heads?

They don't sponsor us because we have members that don't live in the Villages.
It is a wonderful club. Just had another fundraiser with Codys for the Food Bank. Raised a lot of money & collected a lot of food. It was awesome !!

Thanks, Bonnie. Now my in-laws can join. They live just outside the bubble. BTW, I plan on working with Habitat and other projects.
