The postal people, if that's who it is, should not be so caustic with their words. That's what I would be irritated about. I would find out which one wrote it and tell them they could be nicer with their comments. " It doesn't concern you" is Crude and rude. A simple "It's a note to remind me of something" would have been better and then a nice "Thank you" would be sufficient.

At this point I think the OP's question has been asked and answered, and it's time the thread was closed before it deteriorates any further
Of course they would disagree, the average IQ of a mail carrier is about 92, and falling. Clearly it doesn't take much intelligence to deliver mail. The note was also rather rude.

Are you saying the rude, poorly written note was not written by a mail carrier?

Exactly. At least this carrier didn't just throw the mail away (maybe next time. If they read this thread). That's quite common. There are many lazy + low-IQ carriers.

Have to agree the note could have been worded better.

The people who work at our mail stations are not postal workers, they are independent contractors. So their "IQs" could be higher or lower than 92 and could be rising or falling. Who knows, and does it matter?

I thought having more than one member name was against the TOTV rules. Wonder what woke this name from it's 4 year sleep?

Do you really think that a poatal person opens each box from the fron. The boxes are filled from the rear by a postal contractor. The paper you pull off is for that person to find your box for you mail. This is a real US Postal mail box.

You seem to know an awful lot about mail carriers...is that because you are one?...related to one...or just rude in general?

Please show proof of your stats.....oh, that means statistics

Amazing, the answer was on page one, when I got to the bottom of page one, there were two more pages of answers starting with the same answers and ending with nasty ones.

Far from a record. We were in our previous home for 40 years before we left. We were still getting mail for the father who had passed 30 years earlier and requests for donations to her college addressed to the daughter. I would mark the letters RETURN TO SENDER has not lived here in 40 years. Did it work? I have no way to know
