My 23-year-old daughter works for an employer that require their employees to provide one day voluntary services per year. She is looking forward to providing this service.

Can anyone tell me where she might provide a day in a voluntary service here in The Villages?

The volunteers at the hospital in TV must go through an application process. It is impractical for her (and them) so that she can volunteer for one day.

Theres millions of things you van volunteer for and since its one day a year,, the options are unlimited

Does she have a special skill? Find a place that appreciates it and ask if she can help out for a day. I was a teacher’s helper, veterinary helper, church maintenance helper, and food kitchen helper. Great memories.

For one day, she should look at organized community clean ups, collecting animal shelter donations, special events that need volunteers, food bank drives.
