There is a Walmart Superstore south of 44 - in Bushnell at 301 and 75.

Don't panic, Publix is right across the street. Lots of parking, nice staff and Boar's Head meats.

The OP's question was:

Q: Walmart across from Colony closing this summer?

A: According to Maureen at the Walmart store (No. 4565), the store will not be closing or changing their hours of operation. The store will be remodeled this summer, but the remodel work will be performed at night after hours.

You couldn't drag me into a Walmart. They are more responsible for the destruction of small business in America than any Dem or Repub ever was.
Never been in one, never will.

And the automobile ruined the horse drawn buggy industry. Times change. Move on.

Large stores like Walmart and Amazon have greatly improved price and availability of products. I can remember when the one person pharmacist was only open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. I buy almost everything I can from Amazon rather than drive to a store. It's usually cheaper and it comes the next day.

I never have understood why people like deli meat. It’s ground up product, loaded with salt that is pressed into a ball which they slice for you and they say it’s fresh.
