We weren't asked to fill out a single form, or sign an attendance sheet, or show any ID at all.

It was informative and appreciated.
Not referring to you, but there are 3-4 posters on TOTV that could use brain tumor therapy

Giving that information is the only way for citizens to get an item onto the ballot.

It is important to know if signatures are being collected for a petition from a registered committee or just someone out to collect names and dates of birth. I don't know how to determine that, but there ought to be a way.

Dam, they want more information to sign a petition than what is required to vote?

It is truly amazing how many people put their opinion out there that are truly uneducated on the subject. They know nothing about. I come from the state of Oregon, where marijuana has been legalized for years. And like anything there’s always good and bad in any situation. But we have people on here comparing marijuana back to studies in 1960s and their beliefs back in 1960s. Regardless, if you like it or not, it is some thing that is coming, and they will be more and more petitions to legalize it until it finally gets legalized just like they did in Oregon and Colorado and other medical states. And then comes the recreational. It is truly not much different than beer. It is not spread out through the street. You have to be 21 years of age to use it. You have to show ID to purchase it if you choose to purchase it. and you cannot go around public and smoke it in public places . Most public places are non-smoking anything anyways. I have personally known many people who have got help and relief from CBD and THC. If you don’t know the difference, you should Google it and learn the difference.
I’m not proposing for it or against it. I’m just saying, most of you people don’t even know what you’re talking about. Unfortunately in Oregon, we pretty much decriminalize/legalized all drugs in Oregon which I definitely do not agree with. But it will eventually pass like it or not, it is just a matter of win, and then you will have some cities and counties who will allow it and some that will not allow it. And it will also be taxed heavily. And control the same pretty much as alcohol. And marijuana is considered a class one drug right now, which is the same as heroin and meth and cocaine. So if you believe marijuana is the same as meth and cocaine and heroin, then you should leave it illegal. If not, you should at least try to change the laws on it. Somebody smoking a joint in their own home, should not go to jail.

Pretty sure I provided more information than that when I registered to vote.

Nothing to worry about here. Giving out all the information needed to steal your identity to a total stranger is a really smart move, NOT! It smells as much like scam as sewage stinks.

Just to clarify, the Florida constitutional amendment initiative petition form DOES NOT require your phone number. Your name, address and either your Florida voter registration number or your date of birth. (If you want to check on the division of elections website it's form DS-DE 155A. You want to change laws in Florida, this is the only way to do it.

But all that aside--more than about time! We're in the second half-century of this ridiculous "war on drugs" and we've been losing it since it was declared by Richard Nixon.
Compared to the 100 thousand or so deaths/ year due to Fentanyl in the US, marijuana is very small potatoes. It may even act to prevent the harsher drugs from becoming established.

One night I left our apartment to go for a dip in the pool, and when I came back, they were all sound asleep.

Over time, I definitely noticed a change in their behavior. They didn't seem as sharp mentally as they were before, and I suspect it was due to the long-term effects of marijuana. Based on what I observed, I think marijuana use should be illegal.
One person is a statistic of one.......basically meaningless. There are much bigger studies about marijuana that could be looked up and would have actual meaning.

I am not a certified Physician but, I do know that there is ZERO relationship between back pain and rumpled shorts, bad sneakers, and bad haircuts. And if I EVER, EVER, EVER get a body wax then, please assassinate me!

"And visa-versa"? Does that mean that HE likes YOU better when he is scotched up? Inquiring minds want to know!

I agree with you 100%. Helps in so many ways. Pain management and relaxation. Also, listening to jazz and classic rock.

Hey Wax, Buff and Shine,

Many here in TV have 6 and 7 figure retirement incomes, but didn't have a dangerous job throughout their careers.

I do, and I didn't. Lucky me!

I guess the constant danger you faced elicited the need to "chill" by smokin' the weed and wearing Nikeweisers. Good for you!
Are you harry bosch?

I don't get the obsession with waxing, mani/pedi.
