The stuff STINKS! We don't need it being smoked in public.

Then, there's the small problem of federal regulations. Those marijuana stores in states where it is legal, can't use the banks for their business (deposits, checking, savings etc.).
Maybe they have to launder it?

Having come from the mental health field myself, you need to consider that those who use marijuana and seek help, are not necessarily representative of the population of users. They are more likely to have pre-existing mental health issues that may cause what you may think are pot-related effects. There are likely far more users out there who function adequately and lead "normal" lives, despite using pot.

VA People makes an excellent point, but marijuana is far more pervasive and pernicious that just causing mental fog. There are many people and organizations out there preying on the stupidity of marijuana smokers and anyone who gives that much info to strangers on petitions is case in point.

Why would anyone want recreational marijuana in Florida? People are crazy enough without being on drugs.

in defense of brother charlie, i see where some may be concerned about kids who would be able to access it more frequently. many of you know i'm a medical user, so i have no qualms to the idea. when i went to visit my daughter in a Mass. college a few years back, it was EVERYWHERE in the dorms & streets. i guess it's all about the individual & their response to it? certainly laws would be needed to address underage use, & more studies done to judge the long term effects

Why did you report her. Standard questions for a petition drive.

Same stuff, just a different format.

Great first thought. Mace 'em!

I asked Customer Service if she was allowed to do that in the store and their answer was no.

I agree that there should be more to keep underage kids from using marijuana or alcohol , but that ship I think has sailed .I do think that being made legal in many states has taken away some of the mystique of the drug , some people make the case that if you outlawed broccoli , kids would be looking to score some and one thing I’m sure of it’s going to keep many lives from being ruined by marijuana laws that make no sense . I don’t believe in the statement that this or that is a gateway drug , no one sets out to be an alcoholic or drug addict there are just to many variables to make a solid case of why . I will not change my view that marijuana is a wonder drug that can help people in so many ways both medically, socially and just relaxing , I watched many of the people I grew up become very sick from cigarettes which I never smoked so I guess the weed I smoked was better for me , again as I’ve said before everything in moderation. The smoking of marijuana didn’t make me a non smoker , my mother told me if I smoked I wouldn’t grow ,I believed her , well she lied I didn’t grow , 5ft 6 but I have great lungs lol ,and not growing defined my whole crazy life around the world and the reason I’m still pushing myself at 84

Simply ignore and walk by. Easy peasy.
