Why would you want to call the rec center? Maybe to understand the problem and to help insure other events aren't ruined if no one is aware Of the problem. BTW, I'm sorry the evening was ruined.

I posted this to make others aware of the problem and maybe they can avoid attending an event (especially if a Dance) in a room that is like a sauna. Calling the rec center After the ball accomplishs nothing. The villages knew One week prior to the ball the ac was malfunctioning. With the pull and money the villages has, a part could have been over nighted for emergencies and repaired for a special event such as a Marine Ball

Disagree. Nobody brought up the point I did. Everything can be over nighted today, especially a part when time is of the essence. What happened at the Marine Ball was all preventable.
