OMG....I've not seen that much stuff on a pinch list yet. Strong work...I think.

Bath tiles....about 6-7 men the better part of a day worked on about 75 wall tiles a two floor tiles, nice work.

Kitchen cabinets were a little bit of an argument between the builder and the supplier. Builder insisted they were real wood and the vairiation I was showing them were normal in real wood, true if they were real, builder insisted they were real because he is all knowing and a builder for 35 years.
I said I'm a woodworker for 40 years....and we exchanged a bit of dialog, but he refused to budge.
Next morning I called warranty back with same complaint, ask if I spoke to builder, said yes but that he was wrong.

Finally, the manufacturer sent a rep from Tampa, saw what I was objecting to but also said they are real wood..

So I removed a door hinge and showed him the composite engineered wood...he was shocked.

This pasy Monday all doors and draw fronts were delivered, the guy installing them was on the the same page as me, we both examined each piece before they were installed.

5 were rejected, waiting now on those.

Just a heads up your cabinet doors are NOT real wood.

I also received an email from the company confirming that fact.

So we are 99% happy with all the effort they took to get things right for us.

Only exception is they still refuse to move the dinning room lite.
I contacted Jennifer Parr, one of her managers called me in reference to my complaint but in the end would not do it.

So 23 out 24 items were taken care of I'll move the lite myself.

I still have 10 months to report any other issues.

.

Do other buyers have that much stuff on their punch list or did Jimbo just get a lemon?

I think Jimbo is very thorough and has good eyesight.

We missed a few things in our house. So did our home inspector. Too late now, so we will fix them our$elve$. Nothing major.

I helped a few neighbors find things, that they didn't see or realize.

Most don't see the things they should have received in a true workmanship manner.

You have to register and fool around with the web site for a while, but it's in there.

I need to add another item to list, have any of you looked close at your baseboard moldings?

Mine have dust in the paint and a bunch of paint drips.
