When riding my bike on the path, I find myself saying, those crazy cart drivers. When riding my bike on the road I find myself saying, those crazy auto drivers. And when I drive my auto I find myself saying, those crazy bike riders.

IMHO , carts, autos and bikes have their share of dangerous traits that will, someday cause an accident. Be as defensive and as tentative as you can so everyone can enjoy their chosen mode of travel.

Contrary to how many drive the goal is not to teach others a lesson. The goal is for all to arrive safely. That is in the control of everyone. The term accident is according to me a misnomer. Almost every accident can be avoided.

You apparently never watch other drivers...unless a car HAS TO COMPLETELY STOP for traffic too close to consider moving forward...none stop!!! IMHO 9 out of ten Villages drivers can't even stay in the same lane they enter a RB without crossing into the other's lane of travel! If you are too old to drive and stop, not speed, and can't see 100 ft in front of you, please get someone else to drive you! But, don't blame your bad driving on cyclists.

I'm a bit skeptical, no a lot skeptical, about these stories claiming nearly all cars never stop at a stop sign. I drive quite a bit and very seldom see a car bust a stop sign.

In defense of some of us it is hard to do that when we have 3 & 4 cyclists side by side taking up the whole lane up to the center line on some of the traffic circles.

I love to bike myself but I also keep the rules of the road as required to by the law as a biker.

Let’s ALL keep the rules and not think that if you ride a bike you are except from the jaws of the road.

I have cyclist cut me off at gates because they go around the gate to keep from stopping and cut in front of me.

Let’s all play safe and be nice to each other and respect life.

I don't think the person who posted that was blaming cyclists for bad car driving habits. He was blaming cyclists for their bad and often dangerous driving habits. Not all cyclists, of course, but I'm still laughing at a post from about a month ago by a cyclist who explained he doesn't stop because it interferes with his "pedal cadence" Of course I doubt he realizes that a funeral procession walks to a cadence as well.....
