Sam, as you may remember from prior posts, I do not live in the Villages although only a fence separates me from you. One Sumter is not all bad and there have been some good to come from it, my objection is that the Villages because of their population can elect whomever they want and the rest of county has no way of having a real voice. I understand that each commissioner has to live in his district but they are still elected by the villages. Look at the last commission election and see where the money for the "south"end candidates came from. Also I had lived here for 29 years, raised my children here and have seen the changes, good and bad.
