Is that poured concrete in the walls?
Is that the house along St. Charles Place?
Oh, congratulations. I have been watching the work on that house . I was totally surprised to see that the walls were going to be poured into forms. Is it the first of its kind here? And did you request it? Well if it is you Welcome to the neighborhood next door. I am in Buttonwood.

Poured walls. Is this a "first' for TV? No more stair step cracking between the blocks. I wonder if this will totally replace the block construction.

Thank you all for your lovely well-wishes! Our new home is actually in Buttonwood but we are right on the edge of Pennecamp. It's Fringe Tree Trail but, yes, we back up to St. Charles Place. The house is an Allamanda and we were surprised to find out that, in that model, they don't do block and stucco. It's the only designer with poured concrete walls! We wanted to add two feet to the bedroom and that's when our realtor told us it's poured concrete and they don't allow bump-outs. Only change would be with golf cart garage or without. We kid each other and say we're going to hang a sign that says "Bunker, Sweet Bunker"! We love watching the progress as we are renting right here in The Villages. If you happen to see us out there jumping around excitedly taking pictures, please stop and say Hello.

Ohmygawsh...you must be so excited too! It took us 2 trips to make the decision but by the third one, we had sold our house and were ready to buy. Actually, truth be known, we were hooked on the first visit!
