Smile WFTV Channel 9 Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry is Coming to the Villages
Mark your calendars!

WFTV Channel 9 Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry is coming to the Villages!
Channel 9 Eyewitness News has teamed up with Walgreens to help you keep your family safe during severe weather. It's WFTV's goal to make sure everyone has a weather radio.

Tom Terry will be visiting the Walgreens at the Colony Plaza at 400 Colony Blvd. on Wednesday October 2nd, from noon to 1pm. He will be there to answer your questions about the weather radios and the hurricane season.

And, while you are there, look for Tom's cutout. You can take a picture with it. Then, tweet the picture to @WFTVWEATHER using #ALERTWITHTOM to register for a chance to win a mobile tablet. We will see you there!

Will the weather radios be given out for free or would one have to buy?

Maybe a free mug, once in a while. But a free weather radio?

They are not free, but are sold at a discounted price.
