I have fond memories of 8 O'Clock coffee. It was our break time brew and the guy who brewed it seemed to have a magic touch.

Chock Full of Nuts was a close second.

Default I like to mix

I like to mix Peet's Coffee, which is a strong coffee, with Green Mountain coffee. The blend is just right.

I roast my own coffee. Once you have fresh roast you realize that all the coffee you have ever had is stale.
I roast enough for a week and by the sixth day I can tell the difference. My favorite beans are Kona Peaberry from a small family farm on the big Island, Kona Purple Mountain, expensive but worth it. From Africa I like Kennya AA, from Central America Costa Rican Tarrazo and Guatemalan, from South America Coulmbian Supremo, from Indonesia Sumatra Mandelheing. Jamaican Blue Mountain is good but priced like gold. There are hundreds of different coffee beans and all have different flavor profiles depending on the location they are grown in and the roast time. Dark roast is essentially burned coffee beans. I like most of my beans roasted to a lite city roast, the first crack, regular city roast is second crack, dark roast is burnt. Every type of bean will taste different depending on the roast.
HaHa more information about coffee than you wanted to know.

I like a very strong coffee but need a decaf and it has been difficult finding a robust dark roast in decaf but I recently tried Peets Dark Roast decaf k-cups and enjoy it very much!

I haven't read any of these posts.
the best coffee you ever had is the coffee you couldn't get that you used to get.

I had to wait until 8:30 after my blood draw.

The idea of sacrifice is good, but my coffee is just not on the table.
ps jesus gave up his coffee and so on...not me!

I agree. I was just about to post that myself. It's the thing I miss most about Costco.

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. I normally drink it with milk but I was in Jamaica and I had it black , no sugar. It was freshly ground just before it was brewed . The best.

The best coffee I've ever had was a strong Starbucks cup after having to fast for blood tests. Depravation fuels the love!
