Any help would be great, i have seen a few shops to rent so would not be hard to get things in motion.
This post was started in 2010 - did you ever open a business?

I agree that we need a piano bar. A place to lounge for soothing music and quiet conversation after a good meal.

I'd like to have few small European style small gardens with enough benches so people can congregate and chat. We do have lots of benches around but they are mainly for couples to rest or watch the sunrise or sunset. Also, have modern sculptures on Bueno Vista and Morse for culture effects.

There is no Ulta beauty supply store. I suspect it would do well here.
Also need a Dairy Queen.

We go to Ocala about twice month for something to do, usually stop at the Paddock Mall but only after I get my Krystal Hamburers (that's my one vice). Anyway, I stop at Dick's Sporting Goods about once a month and there is an Ulta store in the same center. There is also a Dillards, so while I go to Dick's my wife goes to Dillards and Ulta. If you exit I-75 at the first Ocala exit, it's Route 200 (College Blvd.) Paddock Mall is to your right about a mile, but instead turn left and go about half a mile and on the left you'll pass a Kohl's and then you'll see a Dick's Sporting Goods set back about 100 yards. Go a couple of hundred yards further to the red light and then make your left turn into the shopping center, Dillards will be on the right and Barnes & Nobles on the left, Ulta is just past that.

On the way back from Ocala, about ten miles or half way to TV, you'll see an exit 341, you'll see billboards for a Golf Outlet and Golf Shoe store, there is also a McDonalds. At that exit is a Pilot Gas station, in the station there is a Wendy's and a Dairy Queen. I always stop there and get a chocolate dip vanilla cone.

We usually get on I-75 at Wildwood, which takes about ten minutes from Tamarind Grove, and then it's about a 30 minute drive to Ocala.

Off topic (sorry!) but if you go past the Paddock Mall, turn right at the next light going toward Hobby Lobby, there's a nice little Mexican restaurant just around the corner. Wednesday is $1 Margarita day. You can have lunch there, and then stroll around Hobby Lobby for a few hours to sober up before the drive home. I have bought more stuff from Hobby Lobby than I know what to do with!

I would vote for Texas Roadhouse. Never had a bad meal there - it's fun and always great service. There is always a line after 4 pm, but worth the wait!

Well we have an "awesome" Mexican restuarant in Colony Square - hope that is close enough.
