No because buffalos don’t belong in FL…..heat is to much and The Villages did a horrible job taking care of them

Beginning in the 1670's, Spanish journals record bison in Florida, especially in the panhandle, and in neighboring states. While these bison were commonly hunted by Native Americans and Spaniards, and bison robes were common possessions,

I don't recall ANYONE saying the critters were mistreated or poorly cared for here in The Villages.

Oh my...the Buffalo...what happened! Well some brilliant Villages people and visitors decided it was appropriate to deed, pat and tease the wild creatures. So, due to these Peta members, the Buffalo had to go.

No they were sent out west to the family ranch, the unruly kid stuck his head thru the fence and the mother buff had just given birth and charged the fence scaring the little brat Mommy threatened to lawsuit . another example of lack of parental control and entitlement causing others to lose out .

A few years ago, I took my parents to Paquette’s Tractor Musem. Mr. Paquette was there and let me take photos of his small herd. One had just had a new baby. That’s the only place I’ve seen them near TV. He may still have a few.

Default Buffalo

There are several buffalo kept out of public view kept in Lakes and Live Oaks and a few that are often grazing in a field to the right side of the 6th fairway on Amberwood.

Yes, on the up north part. I don't recall which course it was, but we did just see them a few weeks ago(thru the trees), so they're still up there.

I was here when this happened, some stupid grandparent wanted their little pumpkin to get a better look other than standing on the outside of the fence, and things almost went wrong! Now we can’t enjoy the live buffaloes. Idiots!

They were here when we moved in some stupid yahoo decided it would be nice to get in and get pictures of they with the Buffalo, Buffalo did not want a close up and boogered the idiot up a little. they sued the villages. Guess they could not read the signs that said the buffalo are wild and do not go near them. Don't renumber what state they were from but the education seems to lacking when it comes to reading. Needless to say, they won and the buffalo were pulled from the village. I miss them too.

Some dumb idiot grandfather was trying to put his 4 or 5 year old granddaughter on one of the buffaloes that was near the fence near Freedom Pointe when they were located there. Because of his stupidity and the huge potential for a lawsuit, they Developer took them where they are not accessible, IF they still have them after all these years. Some people are complete morons.
