As a very young kid at Sunday School I had a very posh lady, with a very upper class English accent as our group leader.
We sang 'All things bright and beautiful' and when we got to the line "He made their glowing colors" I heard her sing 'carlers' for colors'
For a long time after I used the word 'carlers' as correct pronunciation.
Now, being a good old East London boy, I use the correct pronunciation 'kulers!'

Default Billie Jean & American Man

Michael Jackson's Billie Jean...."....but, the chair is not my son...." (hey, it's what I heard)

Another song was American Band, I would sing at the top of my lungs, "....I'm an American Man, I'm an American Man, we're coming to your town, we'll help you party down, I"m an American Man..."

After singing this at work, my coworker said, "no man, they're singing American Band, not American Man...." as he signed disappointedly.

I'm sure there are more....

Funny. My Dad investigated fires at Nevada whorehouses for a major insurance company and brought my Mom along on one of these. As they were talking to various people at the then burned out building they saw a truck driver coming up in their direction who could not see the now gone men's attraction. They could see the man's smile on his face as he anticipated the coming carnal enjoyments. That smile gradually disappeared as he saw the smoldering wreck of the cat house.

I have trouble understanding what Ruelle is singing in this song which was picked up for a casino ad here in Florida. RUELLE

Club Yoko is the group. I assume it is Ruelle singing but it could be someone else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1mkYWkoXyo It does sound like her though judging from this other song sung by her.

Ah, yes, the things kids recite in church. . .

For instance, The Apostles’ Creed (or Nicene Creed — can’t remember which one) — anyway — in the part that says “suffered under Pontius Pilate” a little boy was overheard very sincerely reciting “suffered under a buncha spiders.”

So sorry, but to this day, I cannot help a secret smile in church when I think about that little guy. You know, “suffering under a buncha spiders” was what he heard — and it would have made perfect sense to him.

“I like you” is the song title by Club Yoko. Just search the title and artist with lyrics. Hard Rock commercial
