We got there right after it happened, they were loading a young guy up into an ambulance. I had heard it occurred in the parking lot and the young guy was a waiter who got knocked down by a punch, and NOT that the perp worked there...the report differs somewhat from what I heard at the scene...

I wondered about that. It seems that Frederick whats his name was a customer and he bopped a guy working for Mallory who was trying to get Fred to leave.

Don't drink and pester the ladies.

My wife and I were at our neighborhood pool Saturday when the police had to be called. There was a man that was playing his radio and disturbing others around him. When a woman asked him to lower the radio, he became quite aggressively belligerent and profane. Eventually the police were called and after professionally and patiently questioning those involved, asked the man to leave and escorted him out. I have learned that this man has been in numerous such confrontations throughout the villages with parking attendants and other residents. The reason I mention this is twofold. First, to thank my fellow residents for not letting this incident escalate beyond what it already was, and secondly to remind everyone that there are those among us that suffer from emotional issues and may need professional help as much as it appears that they need a kick in the butt. Calling the authorities when possible is better than a fist fight. Also, the two deputies that responded were everything one could hope for in that situation. They were calming, patient, and professional.

I heard of a couple who happened to pass a slower golf cart (going up a hill) while in their golf cart. The person they passed encountered them at a later stop and became outrageously belligerant with profanity and more. Not sure how the outcome was---this person was also with a woman (perhaps a wife).

Sometimes this type of behaviours are attributed to early dementia as well. Too bad these folks are put in situations where it can happen as it's scarey for those that are the focal point of their out-rage!!

Thanks for the explanation. I was getting the mail when I saw the officers, and someone pointed out the troublemaker.

Maybe we don't want the police blotter back! ..."struck the victim, who asked him to leave, twice in the face."
