I am part time so not down there this week. My camera had Massey ring my bell this morning. He had some tool on a pole that I saw him holding over my plant bed.
We don’t have Massey for any service. We closed in September of last year so it’s close to the 1 year. I missed the doorbell ring or I’d have been able to speak to him. |

Was Massey your initial termite company. They may be out to check the bate in your traps. If so then you need to call the office to either stop their service, or continue.
Have had Deans since 2010, and have never had any problems. This new build was with Massey, I called, sent email, stopped at their office with hand written letter to Stop all services and calls, at 10 months of services. Week later an older man stopped by our house with paperwork for me to sign about the 5 year warranty. Its was 26 pages that he told me I didn’t need to read it was just our copy of warranty. Of course I refused letting him know we were canceling. He then said “If you don’t sign these papers no other company will take you on as a termite customer”. I gave him copy of termination of services and told him to leave. They didn’t have a CC#.Week later service guy was checking our traps. Spoke with him and he left. Deans started our service at our one year mark, with zero issues. I will say I do miss my tech Janeen, of 14 years, but just need to break in the new guy. Massey can be a pain when canceling |

He was going around the entire house. Then he was kicking the grass with his heel. I forget if there are termite traps there or something. But it seemed if there are traps he was trying to move the grass off of them.

I have Massey for pest control. Every three months the service guy sweeps the outside of the house with a brush on a pole to remove hornet nests, cobwebs, and other evidence of pests particularly under the eaves. He also applies a granular barrier around the perimeter of the house.
That sounds like what you saw and likely went to the wrong address! |

I emailed Massey. They were doing the 1 year termite bait inspection and sent me the report.

A Massey rep came to our house as well and rang the bell. Since I’m still working I didn’t answer the door. He wandered around the exterior and then left in his truck.
I noticed the next day the one of the termite bait traps in the shrub bed was freshly uncovered. I’m convinced he was there to inspect/sell their termite services. Btw our house was built 11 months ago, but we didn’t buy it for several months after that. |
