Sure they can. The property is adjacent to Colony Plaza. Just drive your cart through the plaza.

No, I was talking about the new apartments being built on 466A adjacent to Colony Plaza. The old Burks BBQ area. It’s on the North side of 466A.

Ya, carts won’t be crossing 301 lol.

Soo, a CCD, ? Works OK until the governor says no, as he did at Disney..THEN he thinks he can lord over the place like he wants to do at Disney....RIGHT, that is a good plan.

From what I've read and seen, TV is quite averse to allow non-Villages property golf cart access...

There's still no place like TV in the world. Do you really want to sit on your porch and watch Buffalos and Tortoises graze? If you have a wife they usually want to do things. One of the great things about TV is the diversity of people and things to do. The are plenty of FL gated retirement communities but many have a small-town mentality where if you don't get along with a handful you have to move. Here there's over 120k so the chances of finding people with similar hobbies and getting along are much better. There's plenty of entertainment and clubs that are tailored to seniors. I can get to any place I need to go, very quickly. Usually within 10 minutes.

Right ! And don't forget, hopefully the MAKE of any of the 2000 additional automobiles (if pricey enough, Fords and Chevy's seem exempt from the free advertising, LOL) when they get into accidents.

Bet the preponderance of the increased automobile traffic will be the responsibility of the State of Florida dept of transportation, not "Melanie"...right ? ? Traffic counters, road widening, increased access ????

Moved from south Florida to escape; they horrendous traffic, the long lines at every restaurant (no matter how ordinary), the crowded grocery stores, the waiting months for an appointment of most any kind, from a medical checkup to having a ceramic tile replaced in a floor... but ALL of that and more just followed us "up north" here to the NATURAL Florida we missed so much ! PROGRESS always marches on... must go further north maybe, take a look at the panhandle to see if it too is getting over populated. When you have the best state in the bag of 50, well, "they will come" as Kevin Costner was told in field of dreams... and come....and come, lots of coastal states but, none like Florida !

I had a home here over 20 years ago that I spent very little time in , if I could still see buffaloes and tortoises here then I wouldn’t be here now , I’m here because there is so much to do or I can do as little as I want .on another rant please folks let’s not worry about all the crime that hasn’t happen yet, most people planning on living in those apartments just want to work hard and enjoy there life just like us and some of them I’m sure are going to be people that used to be your neighbors , that’s happening already

Not sure where the analysis or thinking was in the post…..
