Default What's open in TV Christmas Day

I will have 5 grandchildren that will need to get out of the house at some point on Christmas Day and run off some energy - will the family pools be open? Does the Square have music that Christmas night? If not, I will need to look for a nearby park with large playgound - any suggestions? Thanks.

All the pools and golf courses will be open.

The rec centers are closed.

Yes, there will be live music on the squares that night.

You can always ride around in the golf cart after dark, sing Christmas Carols, and check out all the neighborhood lighting displays.

The movie theatres in LSL and SS are open and do a brisk business on Christmas day.

Default Could be wrong but...

Since I am not in TV I could be wrong but seems to me our Rep pointed out a park with jungle gym etc near????maybe I think it was lake Sumter Landing? Sweet Bay?? or Borders??...sorry I couldn't be more specific...but I definitely remember him mentioning this was build because so many requested it for grandkids....home that is helpful.

There is a small playground for kids (grandparents can watch ) just west of Canal Street across from Sonny's BBQ place. That's the Lake Sumter Landing area.

The only thing they'll miss is snow on Christmas Eve!

Default Swimming Pools

I hate to seem ignorant, but we do not live in TV permanently yet (3 years away), but we have a home there. Are any of the swimming pools heated? We plan on spending Christmas there this year.

Lynne....yes, ALL the pools are heated throughout the colder months to 82 degrees. Swimming is available year-round.
