I try to catch myself if my mouth starts to utter complaints. Can both fresh water and salt water come from the same spring? I remind myself that someday I'll wish I had that breath back, those words back, the time back, a chance to relive one more day.

Sour words sour the mind, the heart, the life, the future.

Nah.

I'll use my heartbeats and breath to be thankful for health, sun, love, the gorgeousness of the world, cake, my wife's hand, good neighbors, fine bourbon, and all the pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy things in my awesome life.

Thanks for reminding me of who I really want to be.

Whats Your complaint!
Those who own long ( 4 passenger) golf carts that Park in golf parking spaces and then their rear end hangs out into the road we'll beyond other carts )and you have to go around it a bit to try not to hit it. I guess it sure would help if they backed in instead of just pulled in so their golf tray was over the sidewalk instead of hanging into the road. Or the villages set a length limit On golf cart park spaces. I wonder how many of them have been hit.

What if the answer is zero? Will you still complain about them?

Not the Seminoles!
They got here before those native central Floridians.

My biggest complaint is golf carts that exceed 25MPH. My 2nd complaint would be gasoline golf carts - many that are spewing out noxious fumes. My thirty would be grass cutters and other maintenance people that speed through
The Village streets. Fourth would be people that throw their cigarette butts out of their vehicle. Fifth would be people that run a bunch of sentences together without any punctuation. Sixth would be the sound of pickle ball players playing. Seventh would be drivers blasting their sound systems with the windows rolled down. Eighth is having difficulty swimming lengthwise in a neighborhood pool because of walking/waders walking width-wise. Ninth is walkers or bikers wearing all BLACK at night or day. Tenth would be all golf courses that put down too much fertilizer or chemicals on their course. Incidentally, people that live within 1/2 mile of a golf course have a greater (125%) chance of getting Parkinson's disease.

But but but…..
Would the sidewalk then be blocked - many have their eyes on a screen when walking like they do driving
These signs are all over Europe

VRBOs , Overgrown trees and bushes in residential areas and roundabouts. Alligators longer than 3 feet that should be removed. People that feed alligators. People that feed bread to ducks and geese. Dogs that bite people. All pit bulls that should NOT be allowed in The Villages with old people. Dogs that jump up on people. People that encourage dogs to jump up on people. People that knock on your door and bother you to buy stuff from them. Jehovah witnesses that come to your door and bother you to buy their religion.

That reminds me of something else to complain about. Runners that run on ANY street or HARD surface. There are tracks, softball fields in the afternoon, some golf courses in the late afternoon, and misc open grassy areas. The absolute LAST place I would run is on the side of a street because of the shocks to your knees and feet. Also, when a car or truck goes by, you inhale all its exhaust gas. To me that would NOT be enjoyable and as far as health goes, I think that those negatives mean that you are ACTUALLY hurting your body, NOT building it up. Plus a vehicle might hit you. Biking for exercise is a little better because your feet don't take a pounding, but you are STILL inhaling exhaust gas and taking a chance on getting hit by a vehicle.
