He said he would swear on his 15 years experience as a chef. I told him that I had 55 years experience and it was not turkey and it was an insult to all of us to say it was turkey. Generally the meal service was like that all week. We all decided "we're done!"
Would you consider letting us know which cruise line that was? Thanks.

Information for those looking for a return to cruising from U.S. ports. Hopefully this will provide some insight about what is happening.

The cabins on the ships are bigger than the rooms at the Microtel Inns.

The CDC only released these after the mounting pressure and threats of a lawsuit that might have gutted their power.

We spend very little time in the cabin, just sleep and changing clothes, wife likes it as it stays dark and she can sleep.

Leave bathroom light on as night light.

When will I cruise again? Never. The only thing good about riding in a boat is sleeping. If I want to eat a lot, I can eat much cheaper and better. But, cruises are just a petri dish of diseases with a trapped crowd of live material to infect. There is no escaping it.
But, on the other hand, everyone should get out and away from home once in a while so enjoy it.

Planning to take a cruise this year? You may not be allowed on board without a COVID-19 vaccination

It was last minute and now I know better. The dirtiness was worse than the size of the room.

I know - but the OP specifically said Cheers. As far as I know, that's a Carnival name.

Royal is Deluxe Beverage Package
NCL is Premium Plus Beverage Package

There are others as well.

All Microtels will not be filthy. If they were they would not be in business.
