I always use my signals, but, I have noticed that sometime my signal seems to be the very thing that triggers the person following to hit the gas to try and cut me off. Funny, that.

And neither was the self-appointed traffic warden verbally assaulting and acting in what sounds like a very threatening manner. If he thought he was teaching, what he taught is that he is unstable loudmouth.

Fast and slow drivers coexist just fine on the German Autobahn.
I just found one site that said "speeding" was number one, another said "distracted driving". People need to drive safely and well within the limits of their abilities and comfort zone and quit hitching about the other drivers. An angry driver is not at their best.

Don't forget them hitting into the foursome in front of them. Had it happen yesterday at Souhern Star.

Where Did Kindness and Courtesy Go?

Probably along with those that have left church attendance, laugh at morals and ethics and have no respect for human life.

Sadly, many of the church angels turn into devils the moment they get behind the wheel.

I know I will be in the minority but how about the person that is going slower or holding others up and refuses to show any courtesy and either pull over or slow down and put on directionals on straight-aways and let those behind them pass?

If people are still ignoring rules and regs. by the time they reach retirement and The Villages, they are never going to change.

I turned left and apparently he didn't like that I did it without a turn signal on. He proceeded to shout obscenities at the top of his lungs for the next block. I finally turned in the opposite direction he was going just to avoid his rantings. Low and behold, a few minutes later I was waiting for traffic to clear at the intersection of Buena Vista and Sumter Lake Miona entrance. Apparently I didn't cross fast enough for the man behind me who proceeded yet again to yell at me. What is happening in this country of so many blessings that we have become so unkind and inconsiderate of others. Must have been something in the air that day. For me, I will just hope for the future to be better and forgive the obviously grumpy old men who felt compelled to be rude.
Maybe we need more Chicago people here, and fewer LoneGuyLanders. Chicago people are very courteous when behind the wheel. They know that admonishing the transgressor is a spiritual work of mercy, and if someone gets seriously out of line, they tend to get seriously spiritual.

I had visions of this and it was killing me with laughter. My daughter won’t go to Chicago because of her last experience of blood on the walls at her hotel - but as far as driving goes, Chicago has excellent rep:

‘Based on the number of accidents, as well as DUIs, citations, and speeding tickets issued, the Windy City actually ranks third amongst cities with the best drivers.’
