I have two sturdy large Rubbermaid garbage pails, that I use to store the bottom of the tree in one and the middle section and the top section of the tree in the other. The collapsed stand also fits. I keep these two pails in the garage. I would never be able to get this tree in the attic as it is too bulky and too heavy. Our brand new tree purchased at the beginning of this Christmas season is unlit so it is really easy to scrunch it to fit in the garbage pails. In fact, before I thru away the original box it came in, I did a very quick assembly of the tree then broke it down to see if it fit in the two garbage pails. Piece of cake!

This tree is 6 ft., slender, takes 5 minutes, more time to enjoy the eggnog, yuum! Home in NC, so tall we left with the house, we're getting lazy in our old age, lol.
