Sitting in our den here in Pennecamp, husband watching football (Patriots #1 yeah), dog playing with Xmas toy and I've spent the first relaxing day since we moved here in Sept. just reading the papers, reheating leftovers and playing on the computer. We love it here and we're enjoying watching the Weather Channel about the storm back in MA. All the relatives are calling to find out how warm it is here. Wish it was 70-80 instead of frost and freeze warnings but I'll take it over snow anyday. Had a wonderful holiday with our neighbors here. What a great bunch of people live here!!

In the Den of our home in Hadley sipping Bailey's on the Rocks, Listen to "The Rock and Roll Revival Show" over the internet (it originates from NY).

And contemplating calling all my friends in NY in the morning

I am in my house in Cary, NC looking out the window at about 8 inches of snow and 25 degree weather. So unusual for us to have a snowfall in December and we have had 3 snowfalls so far this December. Very pretty and will be gone soon so I don't mind too much.

Sitting in my living room just west of Boston, stuck in a blizzard, watching the snow fall and listening to the constant roar of the snow plows.

I'm also thinking about how difficult it's going to be tomorrow clearing the driveway. Knowing, however, that my winters are numbered and that I'll be in TV in a few short weeks, makes it all a bit more tolerable.

I am here where there is no snow or chance of snow. This is exactly why i moved here. No more worrying about snow or the chance or snow. I wore a short sleeved shirt on xmas and even though it is cold today it is no big deal as it felt good to be cold around xmas time.

Here I am in The Villages, on my little netbook that I've put in the master bedroom on a makeshift desk because we have houseguests visiting from Canada and our computer is in the guestroom. Yesterday we had friends visit from Alabama, and today a surprise visit from a Virginia friend I've known since my teens. We feel lucky to be here in TV even though it is cold today, and blessed to have such wonderful friends come to visit. (The folks from Virginia are considering retirement in TV!)

Looking forward to warm weather in the 70's by the end of the week, so I can get out to take some photos with my Canadian girlfriend.
