Given the very small amount of traffic on our street do not understand removing one worker but in any case have heard driver and guy doing pickup do swap roles periodically

The program has been in place for what, two months? "Ever" is a very short time.

Do you regularly sit at the window to watch the trash guys?

Is there any reason to believe that the portion of the neighborhood you monitor twice a week happens to be the area where the driver and collector would switch?

I don't know if the new system with swapping the two workers is better for the employees but that is a concern for the business, not for me. The quality of trash collection is pretty much binary: it gets collected or it doesn't. In my neighborhood it is gone by the end of the day, just as it was before.

I think there are some jobs in the District office that might fit the description. I can't imagine what it must be like to field calls all day long from Villagers who don't like their time slot for water volleyball or the wallpaper in the billiards room or the change to the trash collection or the water being flushed from the hydrants or the level of their pond or the days they can water or the cost of the beer at the bar huts or ......... It would certainly be exhausting for me.

Just north of 466 on Morse is a manned gate. The person standing there is opening the gates while golf carts are proceeding south to a tunnel in front of the vehicles as the vehicles proceed north on Morse. A very stressful and difficult job IMHO.

You should hear some of the calls coming in to Community Watch. It will make you wonder how some people manage to pick up their phone and call them!
