Nova will not try to sell you a water softener. They have them available for people (like me) who are used to the softer water that they've lived with for a while.

In October 2019 Kiley and Sons installed a whole house sediment and carbon filtration system. I have been extremely pleased - no more chlorine tasting water. I don't use the Brita water pitcher now. It also saves on the refrigerator water filter as I only replace it about once a year now. The installer was efficient and provided a house cutoff within easy reach. Both filters can be purchased from Kiley or Amazon.

We bought a house that had a Nova system and we are very happy with it. My husband was planning on putting in a reverse osmosis and running a line to the fridge (so he could have better ice). I talked him into waiting and seeing what he thinks of the water here with the Nova. We both think that the water tastes great. I love not having a tank under my sink like with the reverse osmosis system.

Is there any place nearby to have water tested by an independent lab?
