No, actually, those are the ones from Michigan.

If you enter a round about at six o'clock in the right hand lane and exit it at twelve o'clock in the same lane, you have not left your lane and you have not made a turn. It's nothing more than a curve in the road.

Does Florida law say anything about this? Maybe there are special rules for turn signals in round abouts.
There have been several video's posted on here that provide training on roundabouts. I understand your point about the the "curve in the road" but all the videos I have seen show that going straight is considered an exit and a signal should be used. The Florida Dept of Transportation does not require a signal when going straight. My navigation system also defines going straight in the roundabout as the second exit. If I'm making a left turn it defines that as the third exit which corresponds to the video's that are available. I use the right turn signal when turning right of course, if I go straight I turn on my signal when I'm even with the traffic coming into the roundabout from the right. When in the inside lane I use my left turn signal when turning left (duh) but if going straight I use the right turn signal when even with entering traffic from the right. This should tell those going in the opposite direction what I will be doing and make their navigation of the roundabout safer. Out of habit, I use the turn signal when exiting the roundabout and head for a gate. I am seeing more folks using their signals but not nearly enough have figured it out. From what I have seen I wonder how many just close their eyes and go. It's still a race track out there.

Please remember how many people moved here from out of state when making judgements about Florida drivers.

Agree, but driving shouldn't be OJT when resources are available.

I use my turn signals all the time, even in round abouts

My thoughts exactly. I don't trust any directional in any situation until the driver actually begins to do what their directional says they plan to do. In a RAB, I'm one of those MANY drivers who don't bother to use a directionals. I feel every driver should not trust any directional. Always wait to see where the driver is actually intending on traveling. That is part of defensive driving in my book. This may slow down the traffic flow but it will prevent accidents.

I always use directionals.....only exception to this is exiting RABs. To be honest, I see less than 5% of drivers here in TV using their directionals when exiting RABs.

I was told that in Florida if you see someone with a turn signal on stay away! If they signal left they'll go right..

If they signal in advance and not as the turn, or at all, I don't have to come to stop cause they are not in roundabout yet or just entering. Naturally if I see the wheels not turning right I assuming they are going straight signal or not.

In Florida, break lights are a turn signal....just have no idea what the driver's possible intention is; could be a left turn or a right turn.

It sort of evens out between the people that don't use them and the people that just drive on and on with the turn signal blinking. Heck, I even see them parked with the blinkers going.....

Which continues the stereotypical view the world has of seniors driving in Florida. I guess it's true....

It is not just the roundabouts. It is regular turns on regular streets. I have began to think that most folks unhook their turn signals when they arrive in the Villages, as they appear tone inoperative. Too big of a hurry to get to the quilters meeting or the golf course?

My grandfather taught me to drive. He did an excellent job. For example I am driving down a street, he puts his hand over the rear view mirror and asks me how many cars are behind me, lesson USE YOUR MIRRORS. He taught me ALWAYS use turn signals, I still use these at 2 am in the morning going into our driveway, he would give me heck if I made a turn without using signals. He always told me to expect the unexpected and to ALWAYS have an OUT while you are driving. This advice was invaluable, and unfortunately I have had to use to way too many times in TV.

Golf cart turning LEFT from the GC lane, signals, in front of my car, you must be kidding. Twice in 2 years!!

Idiot in opposing lane stopped to allow GC to cross MM path, just missed having a GC as a hood ornament. PEOPLE, ONLY UNIFORMED OFFICIALS ARE ALLOWED TO DIRECT TRAFFIC.

I cannot count the number of times I have seen people changing lanes in the roundabouts, enter from right lane, go into the center lane in roundabout, then exit to right lane....

And please do not get me started on running RED lights......

Just venting, thank you...............
