Who said it was a Villager? The crime happened at least 10 miles from here in another city, and was reported a him living in Leesburg.

I can't figure out why his injury was so serious that it warranted airlifting him to Orlando, yet he was treated and released the same day.

It was reported in the unmentionable online news which usually reports daily a few crimes occurring in TV and the surrounding area. Some give me a chuckle. Others truly trouble me, such as this one. This criminal should have been behind bars, not out on the street.

As another pointed out it doesn't take that long to bleed out, it could have also been exhibiting other issues due to the shock of being wounded.

They probably took him to the closest hospital that had the resources to capably treat him in a timely manner.

Anyone consider that if they had taken him to TVRH he might still be in the waiting room?

I did hear that they considered (for less than a second) waiting to see what some of the EXPERTS on TOTV wanted to do but decided to go with the "established emergency medical protocols"
