We went to Sarasota for Easter Weekend---traveling on I-75 near Tampa--our car was covered. Fortunately we also had rain which washed them off. They were in Sarasota---not many but we were out in the yard and they were flying around. We have also seen several today in The Villages flying around.

Can someone please tell these bugs that they are here early and it's not May 1st yet? Maybe they will go away a few weeks early.

wipe your car with dryer sheets....the bugs will not stick to it...tried it IT WORKS

I swatted down a couple of them yesterday while taking a break mowing my lawn. It did'nt take long for the anoles to get them and give me a thumbs up for the meal!

Lovebugs are normally around the month of May and the month of September. They will come into the house or garage if the door is left open.

I've had them come into the house on people's clothing, especially if they are wearing white. Last year we had a particularly bad season of them and I found them dead in my house for weeks. I hope this season, since they are early, that maybe we will be spared some. Oh well, they are better than a sinkhole.
