Default Willie Nelson & Family Show

I saw the ad in newspaper for 1 night show at Savannah center. $175 PP for residents. Thought it must be a misprint, but it's posted on Villages Entertainment Schedule. Are they kidding, $350.00 per couple to sit in the Savannah Center? You wont see me there.

It's a shame that the tickets are such a high price. I would love to see Willy and Family. Saw them years ago at an open air event and I can remember smelling the loco weed in the air. (this was in the 70's). He has so many good songs.

We saw Willy at Silver Springs in Ocala a few years ago. A great afternoon show, beautiful outside venue, and very reasonable.

We saw Willie a few years ago. Good, but not worth $175 each, IMHO! Wow! That's pricey!

My feeling exactly. We would have gone but not at that price. Wonder how well the tickets are selling and who is buying them?

Looking at the seat selection chart on the Box Office web site, it appears as 75% of the tickets are sold.

We won't be going at that price either. I guess because Savannah is not a huge venue the price per seat has to be higher to get him. Just sayin.

If they sell out Willie they will probably have the high prices with other well known entertainers. This may be the start of things to come.

I checked Willie's tour schedule and at Semonole Hard Rock they start at 78 and go to 798. His ticket prices are high but about average for big name entertainers.

I agree, that if they are selling tickets at this price it is just the beginning, If people would not pay these high prices the prices will have to come down. The Savannah Center to me does not warrant these high prices.

From Wikipedia.............
"In 1991, Nelson released The IRS Tapes: Who'll Buy My Memories?; by 1993, the profits of the double album, destined to the IRS, and the auction of Nelson's assets cleared his debt."

And the talent level will come down as well.
