Default Mentors needed for spanish speaking middle school male students

I coordinate a mentoring program at the Wildwood Middle High School. I have two middle school boys who could use a mentor. They are currently learning english so would appreciate someone who can help them practice english conversation.
These boys are smart and eager to have a buddy to build a rapport with.
Please consider donating a minimum of 45 minutes once a week.
Thank you

Please supply the website for the school's volunteer program so people can actually apply for this. It'd also help to know -where- the mentorship will occur - at the school? At the students' houses? At the volunteer's house? At some neutral location? In a golf-cart accessible location?

If they were close to the Historic side of the Villages and I could get there by golf cart, I'd probably be interested. It's hard to be inspired or motivated to even try though, if the person asking for help offers such sparse information.

OP, I am so sorry for the path this has taken. I suggest you ask the moderator to close (and delete?) this thread. Then repost but do the following:
Include the type of mentoring and if knowledge in a specific subject is necessary (math, history, English, etc.)
Include any other requirements that may be necessary.
Outside of maybe 6 Spanish words, that would be it, so I cannot help.
Another possibility, I see phones among other devices that do translations on the fly, as well as some computer software, so would it be possible to use this type of equipment, if so this would greatly increase your possible list of volunteers.

As I said, if I knew the volunteering would take place close to home and golf cart accessible, I'd consider volunteering. I'm not bilingual but I can read Spanish and Quebequois (Canadian French) almost fluently, and can understand at least some spoken rudimentary conversational Spanish. I'm also formally educated in English writing, sentence structure and grammar (Creative Writing and Print Journalism were my majors in Colledge) so I can help these kids understand the differences between "would be" and "would have been." It's something that doesn't translate very well into Spanish. Our language is mostly Germanic, theirs is Latin.

Great intentions. Tho in todays climate, the original poster should have been a little more clear.

Check with New Covenant United Methodist Church. They have an excellent mentoring programing, head and shoulders better than the state run Take Stock In Children. Speak with Anne Foote Hill (352) 750-4529. I don't know if she can locate a spanish speaking mentor or not, but give her a call.
