Default TV Fitness Center Equipment Slow Repair

I have been a member of TV Fitness Centers since March. I usually go to the center at Seabreeze as it is closest to my home. There are two pieces of exercise equipment that have needed repair for close to two weeks. The persons who work there put in a request for repair as soon as repairs were needed. I called the office that handles this last week so they are aware. These two pieces of equipment are not duplicated at the gym.

Other fitness clubs to which I have belonged usually have equipment repaired in 2-3 days.

Does it take this long at other gyms in the area?

Several months ago at a Welcome Wednesday meeting, John Rohan was discussing and promoting TV Fitness Centers. There is even one planned for the new rec center bearing his name!. So hopefully he feels strongly about the quality and service provided by TV Fitness Centers. My suggestion would be to speak with John regarding your issues and let's see if that expedites a resolution.

Excellent suggestion and in the meantime, OP, drive up Buena Vista a little farther and use the stuff at Laurel Valley. OR go down Buena Vista and use Eisenhower's machines. But do mention it to John Rohan. Nice man. Does a great job.

As a gym rat myself (just returned) I can tell you I used to go to seabreeze or colony everyday and yes they are slow in repairing. To me that is unacceptable as membership fees are high. Now I am a member of mvp. Just switched over because some machines I like better. The only issue I have with mvp is they are very Expensive and open late on Sat and sun and also don't even open at all on holidays, most recently July 4th. They should be open at least 1/2 a day on such holidays. At least the villages gyms are. Pros and cons to both gyms. How are you finding the temperature in the seabreeze gym? I was constantly telling them it was too hot in there? Let us know now you make out?? Do put in complaint

I don't think there are machines at Eisenhower. I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend that no equipment at Eisenhower as part of the deal to get MPV in Brownwood.

Then go up Buena Vista to Miona. Or over to Colony. Not far really. Drive a car.

The op should not have to go to another gym because of slow equipment repair. Equipment should be repaired in a timely manner, especially when we are paying good money to use the gym

Why should she have to drive to a center further away when they are charging as much as $45 a month. Besides, the Villages Fitness Clubs are only at 4 centers; Village Community Development Districts

Mulberry Grove

Laurel Manor
352-751-7101

Colony Cottage
352-750-5282

SeaBreeze

All the rec centers have a manager with an office. Have you tried seeing the manager?

I went into the Seabreeze fitness location once, and I thought I was in somebody's garage gym. There was maybe 7 or 8 people and I felt crowded. When comparing prices, MVP is higher priced than I like, but you get what you pay for. Here's an actual photo of Brownwood MVP. This is the bay area, there are also four classrooms, one for spinning bikes, two for workout classes and a basketball court.

The Villages gyms were also closed on 4th of July. Also the temps at seabreeze are perfect for me and I like it cooler than most. Been going there for 5 years.
