Spring is coming up..mating season...animals will be moving about more often than normal. I wouldn't worry about Bobcats but be wary of bears with cubs and especially alligators that tend to move from one watering hole to another in their search.

Actually I think it's kind of cool to have predators in our midst. Bobcats, foxes, raptors, and coyotes are human averse and lend an element of wildness to our domesticated landscape.

Not when you are walking the dog at night and they are just a couple houses away.
