Compared to our electricity provider up north, Eversource, SECO is an incredible bargain. The mandates put on utilities up north to use “so called” green energy sources create very high expenses that are passed along to ratepayers. Our monthly electric bill up north is about the same as as our Village’s homes bill when we spend the entire month in Florida. That’s just not right.

45% Natural Gas/Fuel Oil
35% Nuclear
18% Coal
2% Hydro and Renewable

I used 100 more KwH in October 2023 compared to October 2022 and my bill was $28 lower in October 2023
