Many stores in the South abandoned self checkout stations over the last several years largely because of poor customer service complaints. In the North they are installed so the staff doesn't have to deal with a bunch of local grump buckets.

Tammy at Winn Dixie and her staff has done it again. Today we left at 7:30 AM to go on the pontoon ride at Hontoon Landing with about 30 people from the Village of Gilchrist. It was a beautiful day to be on the water and the lunch was terriffic. 60 pieces of chicken and the large sub platter. IMO When money becomes obsolete and when they can get in the 21 century with credit Cards in the US. Can't believe we the most industrialized county in the world with computer technology are still stuck in the 80's with credit card technology. With all the fraud in CCs they need to SC them and start over IMO.
