Gas carts are much, much more of an issue. I wonder how many gas carts add up to one gas guzzling 60's car without pollution control.

My gas cart gets about 50 miles/gallon, which is much better than our cars when driving around The Villages. The point about no pollution controls is certainly valid. It isn't clear to me that electric carts have a smaller environmental footprint when you factor in the generation of electricity and the manufacturing/disposal/recycling of the batteries which need to be replaced periodically.

Has anyone had success with insulating garage doors without replacing them? Also it was suggested to me by a "window guy" to take the screens out of the windows when I'm not using them to prolong their life especially in the summer months.

My garage doors are insulated. The garage stays very comfortable and it faces south. It is also quieter. There are kits available. Check out past threads.
