A lot of the homes north of 466 near Morse has a Lady Lake address and zip code but is actually in Sumter County. That is a post office thing, not a juridstictional one.

Just a joke folks don't take this seriously
Yes to the outgoing commissioners as they assume their new jobs working directly for the developer as payback

I know a few people (in their early 80's) that think the Brownwood Lofts are very appealing.

And I don't think people are going to move to the apartments for the swim up bar. I'm saying that as a Villager resident with access to the apartment amenities, I'M interested in the swim up bar.
Where has the developer ever said there will be a swim up bar ? It will probably be a family pool like the one they took down so I would doubt that is true. Before anybody says no, it wasn't a family pool it was a country club pool let me remind you all the country club pools allow any age in there as long as you are visiting somebody with a priority membership.

Honestly, I like hearing from the kvetchers, just like I do the rose-tinted Developer fans. It would be depressing to live in Stepford where everyone thinks and acts the same.

Better to get a diverse group of comments. If everyone thought the same would be rather boring.

and the old Katie Bell's was always packed with people at the bar. one of the few places in The Villages opened late and there seemed to be some heavy drinking. as someone once said, anyone with a liquor license can make money.
Doesn't seem like the Lofts is having any problem finding renters for those high rent apartments. There are people who will rent them.
Apparently Katie Bell's wasn't making enough money to keep the doors open. It's called profit and loss, when it's all loss no business will be able to keep it's doors open. No, having a liquor license will not guarantee the success of a bar, if it did there would be a bar on every street corner.
