Never heard of the "Beatles Celebration" so I can't work out how they would be the "Worlds Best" , the best Beatles tribute band are the "Bootleg Beatles" ...... I am sure they will be good....... but probably not the "Worlds Best"

There are several videos of "Beatles Celebration" on YouTube.
They actually sound pretty good.
And, yes, I realize these clips are a few years old.

We are indeed conflicted . The one charity we believe in and have supported is St. Jude's. However we didn't much care for the music of the Beatles let alone a group of Beatles impersonators. We will pass on this one

I've seen the youtube videos and they do look pretty decent. I have seen pretty much all of the Beatles tribute bands out there and have spent some time playing on some of them. I don't know how these people can lay claim to "The world's #1 Beatles Tribute" unless that is actually their corporate name.

Coming from a background where I have studied The Beatles and their music for most of my life, I have a bit of a difficult time watching Beatles tribute bands. I simply have too much knowledge and information. I notice all of the little details that most people don't consciously notice, but go into what makes an accurate tribute. Little things like what kind of guitars are used on what songs and if the guitars have the right pickups and correct knobs disturb me when I'm watching a show. Is Ringo using a modern version of a Ludwig OBP drum kit or an authentic 1960s kit? Do they use new modern boom mic stands or authentic ones like The Beatles used? Now someone like me might be the only one who notices little things like this, but I believe that subconciously they give people the feeling of authenticity.

So, it's difficult for me to be objective when seeing Beatles tribute bands.

For my money, the best Beatles tribute band I've seen is The Fab Four. I'm hoping to get them booked into The Sharon next March. 1964, The Tribute is also outstanding as is Rain.

But, if there are still tickets left for these guys I'll probably go and see them. I'd like to see if they compare to the best that I've seen.

I am fairly sure that this was the band that played for us when we stopped at Liverpool on a UK cruise a year or two ago. They were very good. Certainly worth $25 in my opinion.

The "Nowhere Band" is a very good Beatles tribute band and they will be playing at Savannah this month. We saw them last year and really liked their performance including period costumes.

There is an estimated 8,000 Beatle tribute bands in the world and it is always a good argument among Beatle fans as to who is #1. The consensus answer is The Fab Four out of LA. They are followed extensively in the Beatle tribute band documentary, "Come Together" in 2014. (And if you get a chance to see Tim Piper as John Lennon, don't pass it up).

Any way, it is all good. We are still talking about the Beatles and it has been fifty years since Rubber Soul. Enjoy the show!

Having a granddaughter who had cancer at 3, is a patient of St. Jude, and is a survivor, I think it is a great cause and thank you for the people bringing them here. All proceeds are going to help Children with Cancer at St. Jude.
Because after the OP the discussion had very little to do with St. Jude. It is not quibbling to state a pretty well founded opinions, especially from Dr. O'B! Enjoy the show!
