Default Yankee Clipper Executive Golf Course

I got to play Yankee Clipper today. Nice challenging course, although not yet rated on the Golf The Villages website I am sure it will be rated level 4. It is a par 29 with two par 4 holes. Yardage from the back tees on the par 3's is long - only one hole under 170 yards.

They have adjusted the order of the holes to accommodate the temporary starter shack - what you play as hole number one will eventually be hole number 6. This will get even more strange when Southern Star opens - you will play 18 holes, covering both courses. For that temporary setup it appears that you will play 4 holes on Yankee Clipper, then all nine on Southern Star, then the final 5 on Yankee Clipper. Look at the course layout diagrams on the Golf The Villages website and see if you can figure it out. (Part of this is speculation on my part, but the scorecard I received today has a front and back nine.)

Southern Star looks in pretty good shape so it probably won't be long before it is open, rumors say January.
