Default Yearly Renters

While I am still in the very beginning of planning stages for retiring to TV, I think I plan to rent, at least for the first few years, Dec-April or Jan-April. I really do love Pennsylvania May -Nov/Dec. It's Jan-April that is a real killer up North.

Anyway, I'd like to hear from other seasonal renters and how you like it, do you rent from the same person every time, do you still belong to clubs, etc. Any tidbits, useful information, or funny stories would be appreciated. Even though it's only October, highs today are only 43, with tomorrow and Friday being in the 30's with possible snow showers. Reading this site makes me feel warm and allows me to live vicariously through your experiences.

Weather in Central NY is just as cold, but to warm up I just check out the town square:

Doesn't raise the temp here but it's nice to see everyone walking around in shorts.
