Yes, living near a burrow of snakes helps a lot. Snakes are great. They eat the big rats and sometimes even a coyote.

It's rumored that James Cagney would import snakes because he he hated the rats on his property.
That's why he was aledged to have coined the expression... "You dirty rat, you!!! The Villages Florida

BRB.......

Well, they say they won't play with the snakes and I can make them little tin foil hats to keep the aliens away.

So......all is well again and we're back on track!

Cave diving via the water supply

We feel much much better about the whole thing now ! Burial vault is good.
That's one of the reasons I don't fear sink holes. I'm a certified cave diver and certified cavern diver instructor. Many of the sink holes in this area of Florida have opened up some of the best cave diving sites in the world. One person's "finanacial calamity" could be another person's financial gold mine.

All kidding aside, for an amazing view of what these sink holes can uncover, see: Devils Den Springs Scuba Diving Resort

In that case you can probably get Fumar Funding Corp. to finance the snake relocation expenses.

3-D action film re caves in the South Pacific.....Esa-ala Caves.

Nail biting journey down and out............we saw it last year & then bought our son a DVD of same movie "Sanctum". Amazon.com has it.

Our son took scuba diving to be certificed (in Colorado of all places) and took groups off the coast of Mexico, etc. Hubby believes he also did cave diving.
Yes, I enjoyed Sanctum very much (have it saved on my DVR).

I have been a scuba instructor for 20 years and I basically took it up to help subsidize my cave diving addiction. North Central Florida offers some of the best cave diving in the world. I worked as a scuba instructor in Belize, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Panama but one of the things that helped convince me to move to TV was the proximity to all the great cave systems (which are usually accesed through sink holes).

Enough of my hijack--what really scares me are some of the line dancers in Spanish Springs town squares--whatever you do, don't get in their way!

Interesting, I've been meaning to ask you how you could give up diving by being so far inland. I would like to have a go at cave-diving when I am there full time.
