They go by so fast that it is hard to get a good look.
Did this information come from the trial period or just your opinion?

Bill
That does look like graciegirl if she is wearing her Kathie1 disguise.

The 2nd gate crasher does duck but it looks also like there is a name on the golf cart on both the driver and passenger side. My YouTube skills are not such that I can get a good enough look to get the name(s).

They should go back to gate that a golf cart can get by. Seems to me that the new gate system was talked about last year and how we were going to voluntarily go along with the new standard. Another poorly thought out thing that costs us money. And then we are paying someone to track these people down. Put a gate in that does not give and people will not hit it. Ok I am done, bring it on
Florida law does not require that cars have front license plates. You're right about having gates that allow golf carts to pass through. I like the suggestion about the "iron gate"..I have long thought that the stanchions that are at the front entrance of cart paths should be made of steel. We wouldn't be replacing so many of them and people who hit them once, won't do it again.

That is not true. Read the standards.

Excellent suggestions! I like the idea of an iron gate, but I like the idea of adding sharp spikes to the bottom of the gate to impale any offending vehicle.

That is what we were told here in the Villages last year. I would love to see the standards.

I believe that is a reasonable pursuit and support it. Conversely residents can use this information to support their claims that the gates failed and caused damage to their auto.

It is just that in the final analysis the gates create more frustration, inconvience, etc. while not providing much, if any safety to this community.

I could get more excited and energized amount this issue if this was truly a gated community. finally the AAC money being expended only benefits residents north of 466

I understand the "gated community" part, but share a little more about the rest. . . i.e. what is AAC money? Thanks in advance.

The POA sued the Developer and they settled for $43,000,000 of amenity funds being held by the Developer. In that agreement the POA arranged to have residents run for a seat on the ameity Advisory Board that would oversee how this money would be spent. all funds apply only to the districts north of 466.
