Very happy to have digital ID in the future, will it be accepted at the rec centers and pools?
That would be a lovely new year’s gift from TV.

2021 looks great.
So true, and kept going full steam keeping thousands employed at major financial risk during the pandemic.

Some people don't get the Daily Sun, and millions of people don't read this forum. They have the app, and rely on the app to give them information about the app.

If the app itself doesn't provide any upcoming information about itself then I'm not seeing that as being "progress." I'm seeing the same old backward technology that relies on third-party sources to give information to a limited demographic.
Look at the bright side. We're living in beautiful Florida. It's sunny and warm, plus the vaccines are coming soon.

Huh? And if they put that out there how would that change your life...unless of course it would allow another thread on here or daily phone calls asking "when". It has zero relevance until the update shows up. Why do people care about this stuff? And as far as a limited demographic, you chose to be in that limited demographic, why do others need to accommodate your choices?

If you have an iPhone, whenever an app has an update or been updated you will see a small colored dot in the upper left corner of the specific app logo. That will alert you that there is an update and if you don’t allow auto updating you have to click the app and give permission to have update installed Don’t know how process works with android phones but assume it is similar.

I checked before posting..... it worked for me.

Don't know if tophcfa used the link.

I just clicked on the link and it still works for me. If it didn't work for you..... I'm sorry. You could sign up for the "V-mails" and they will be delivered right to your email.

Yeah it's a good thing I read it here, because VMail always goes into my spam box automatically, so I rely on my apps to notify me on upcoming changes (like World of Beer does when they're planning fancy new doodads on their app, or when Chicken Salad Chicks notifies me when there's a new update being planned to implement "soon" or when any of my other apps notify me of planned "new and improved" things I can expect in the forseeable future.

But as I said - I'm not surprised that the Villages App hasn't caught on to modern marketing techniques of the 21st century. They're dealing mostly with people who don't even understand 20th century technology.

Yea. Like people who don't know how to change their settings so that V-mail does not go into the spam folder.

Or that she found there was just too much Vmail so she has directed them into the spam folder in the first place....

Never had a problem getting a tee time. Why do some people think that there is a shortage of golf courses? It is simply not true.

In the video link from an above post, the part about the upgrade to the app starts at 10:56 minutes in. Sounds like TV ID will be on the app so you won't have to carry a card perhaps. Also an upgrade to the tee time system...long overdue. This will start showing up after they complete the voice navigation portion of the app. So don't expect it next month.
