Question All this Bond Talk.....

Hi for New Jersey!
My wife and I are thinking of moving to the Villages, but are concerned about the possible fines that may be subjected to the home owners if the IRS fines the developer guilty of "bond misuse of funds".
As you all know, moving from one state to another creates anxiety in and of itself, but now this incident may cause a dent in our future plans. We were in the Villages about 1 month ago,and really liked it.
Any advise as to go ahead and buy or wait all this confusion out???

Suggest you go back and read the 2 or 3 threads on this subject. They will give you both sides of the story, those that think the sky is falling and those who feel it is way too early to speculate on the outcome. So, the responses to your question will vary from both sides, as always..........its your decision.

Resolution of this issue will not happen quickly. In the meantime, you could be enjoying this paradise called The Villages.

Specifically, read "A Message from the Property Owners Association (POA)", which is still in Quick Links: Today's Posts.

I believe Mr. Gorman's opening statement comes the closest to being accurate of anyone's comments on this topic.
