Thank you all for your opinions. Sounds like Citizens will get me with the popcorn. My (soon to be former) bank in Mi. had free popcorn and found my weakness. I will not be a snowbird, so like the idea of a Fl. oriented operation. Thank you all again.

Check out Fairwinds Credit Union in the Bed Bath and Beyond shopping center, corner of
Rolling Acres Rd. and 441. No charge ATM's are located in Public supermarkets.

There are several in the Leesburg area about 8 miles south of TV.
They're my favorite bank and I've used many.

Default Credit Unions

Do any of you have experience with any of the Credit Unions in the area? Fairwinds C.U. in Rolling Acres Plaza is one that I've noticed and there is one on 27/441. Lady Lake---I believe Insight C.U.
Not sure how to check how good/bad they might be--the ones that are customer-owned sometimes have a higher rate of interest. Thanks for any info you could supply!

As a career banker of 35 years of working for the very large "brand-name banks " , I strongly endorse Citizens First Bank locally .

I'll be dipped Jim! I went with BBT after a Citizen's new acct mgr described it as a "boutique bank"...not sure what that means, but your good word would have made me go with Citizens.
