Red face Rainbirds

We are a couple from Northern California who rented a home for two months last winter and ended up buying a place this summer. We are leaving next week to spend the next four months in the bubble! Looking forward to tennis, golf and all the other great activities in the adult Disneyland as well as the great fun people that live there! Frank & Leona

We call ourselves Humiditybirds - leave Fla in the summer for our less sticky (but not cooler) Norcal mountain home. Spending 8 1/2 months (Oct - mid June)here this trip instead of the recently usual 4.

I like that! I'm calling myself a sandbird since I'm from the Gulf Coast and want to spend the hot and humid season in southern Ohio.

Default Thanks for the Welcome

Thanks for the welcome and its great hearing from all the different birds. Coming from California with all of its diversity, its great to see and meet all of the people from different parts of the country. Another fantastic appeal of The Villages.

It seems the west coasters retire to Arizona and the easterners to Florida or the Carolina's.
